Frequently asked Questions

The Basics

How do you cook dry-aged beef?

Learning how to cook (grill, bbq, oven, smoker), beef is simple, with enough first-hand experience.

Luckily, we love to learn by doing things ourselves first.

Here are some articles to get you started.

The average person can consumer around 300g.

Having worked on farms, we’ve seen half-starved people after a full-day’s work satiated after 300-400g of beef.

The minimum amount of protein required for adults is roughly 0.8g of protein per kg standing body weight (this may vary depending on factors such as age, sex, muscle mass, and physical activity).

If you have any other questions about ordering beef (including budget cuts or recommended cuts for keto diet) check out the blog article below:

Wet-aged is fresh-cut beef. Dry-aged beef is hung in a temperature-controlled environment no shorter than 30 days.

It’s the fat.

The more marbling you have, the better your steaks will taste, guaranteed!

If you don’t know already, fat does not make you fat!

Sugar makes you fat.

It frustrates me to hell, the low-fat fad & the modern habit of cutting off all fat from beef cuts.

By cutting the fat off, you remove the flavor and the most bioavailable form of energy your body uses.

All beef comes fresh cut and vacuum-packed. All products will remain fresh for up to 3 weeks in a 5C cooled fridge. Burgers (as they are minced), 2 weeks is recommended.

If you would like to freeze your order, we do not recommend freezing for longer than 3-4 months. We generally do not recommend this however, as freezing will change the texture of the meat (ice crystals expand).

Marinating or smoking meats can preserve these to consume for later.

About our Grass-Fed Beef

All of our beef is currently sourced from Poland.

You cannot find this kind of quality beef in supermarkets. The fact that is that Poland is the 2nd largest exporter of beef in the European Union

It is hard to find quality beef (we’ve checked in every European country).

In addition, we check all farms we source cows from using our knowledge of Regenerative Agriculture -> www.adamgrowseden.com

It is our ultimate goal to raise cow using holistic grazing in every European country.

We work directly with an abattoir to ensure we get top quality grass-fed beef. Saying that, you can never be 100% sure unless you raise the cattle yourself.

That is why we’re on track to raise our own cows. Using Regenerative Agriculture we will begin raising our own cows in the Spring of 2022. For more information about sustainable agriculture, check out www.greenstitute.com and www.adamgrowseden.com
